the founder of St. Petersburg known as "The Bronze Horseman", the Winter Palace, Nevsky Avenue, the Cathedral
of Our Lady of Kazan, the Arts square, the Summer Garden, piers and bridges
of the Neva River,the Fortress of Peter and Paul, etc. During excursion we will make several stops to admire monuments and interesting places and take pictures which will always remind about your visit to St. Petersburg.
During excursion you will observe the magnificent interior of St. Isaac's Cathedral- one of the finest and largest cathedrals in Europe. The original decoration of the Cathedral shows the works of famous Russian masters. It is decorated with obout 200 pictures, 65 mosaics, about 350
sculptures and bas-reliefs, 43 tipes of different stones.
We invite you to visit the Church of the Resurrection of Christ which has
another more known name-the Church on the Spilled Blood. It was constructed on the same place where the Russian Emperor Alexander ΙΙ was assassinated in 1881. The Church on the Spilled Blood for its architecture is
very similar to churches in ancient Russia. The facades and interior decoration
are covered with 7 000 m² of mosaics in the old Russian technique.
